Lake City Community Center

Spectrum, Mercy Housing Northwest, and Seattle Parks and Recreation have partnered to create a vibrant, inclusive project to re-establish the Lake City Community Center as the heart of a new civic center serving the neighborhood.

Building off the team’s respective strengths in family housing, mixed-use development, and family services, the project will center on supporting families and creating a new, welcoming community-oriented space in the heart of Lake City. Principles of environmental justice, equity and anti-displacement, livability and well-being, and community connections will guide the project through all phases of planning, design, construction, and operations.
