Northwest Kidney Centers – Burien Campus

Spectrum led the due diligence, site acquisition, design team selection and management, entitlement, construction management, and owner occupancy support for a new headquarters campus in the City of Burien. The project includes a 47,200 square foot Pavilion which serves as both an administrative office with education and collaborative rooms, and a dialysis center designed around an outdoor garden for restorative views. It also includes a 15,800 square foot logistics center for all their locations and a community meeting space before and after clinic business hours.

The success of this project resulted in Northwest Kidney Centers launching a new initiative to incorporate biophilic design into their dialysis areas to provide patients with a calming environment.
