Spectrum led Northwest Kidney Centers in adopting their progressive design-build model, delivering a new dialysis clinic in the City of Kent.
The new clinic is the second in Kent and enabled Northwest Kidney Centers to double their services to patients in the surrounding area.
This is part of Northwest Kidney Center’s mission to make dialysis treatments more accessible throughout the Pacific Northwest and incorporate biophilic design principals to provide patients with a more comfortable and calming environment.
Spectrum led the creation of Northwest Kidney Center’s design-build structure to increase efficiency in the design and construction planning process, with stronger cost control measures than the typical design-bid-build structure. Employing a design-build approach has enabled Northwest Kidney Centers to draw on the successes of previous projects for development of future clinics.
